Duplicating a key should be easy for a locksmith, just like when key programming a 2019 Chevy Blazer because this particular Blazer uses a 5 button prox key. I’ve duplicated the emergency key, and I'm using Ilco lookalike replacement prox remote with the SmartPRO.
To begin the programming, we have the Smart PRO, which is connected to the OBD2 port, and we also have the 'MYKEYS Pro' for all the information we need about this vehicle.
When you have everything set up, go to vehicle selection: select Chevrolet, Blazer, and 2019 prox-push button. The MYKEYS Pro app can give you all the tips, tricks, and information you need to navigate the selection process.
Hit the Connect button. Switch the ignition off, according to the instructions on the SmartPRO device, then click OK.
Go down to Add Keys, and we’re going to hit the play button on the bottom left. ‘Please read the PIN code using the Read Pin procedure’ will appear, so go over to the read pin, and we'll hit play. You don't need to write the pin code down because the SmartPRO will do it for you. When the Pin appears, go over to Add Keys and hit the play button on the bottom left.
All doors must be closed during the procedure. All already programmed keys should remain outside the vehicle. If you still have one inside, go and put it outside—force Ignition On and wait for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, insert the first key to be learned into the pocket. Push the Start/Stop button once. Wait for a while until ‘Do you want to program more keys?’ appears, then click No. Press the Start/Stop button to switch the ignition off. Press and hold the Start/Stop button for 12 seconds, hold until it hits100%. Press and hold it until the ignition is switched on until you hear the beep. Press the Start/Stop to switch it off and wait for the process.
Note: While it's processing, put your foot on the brake to start it.
‘Press and hold the Start/Stop button until the ignition is switched off’ appears, do what is written in NOTE again until ‘Press the Start/Stop button to switch the ignition off’ disappears. Now, you can check to see if it locks/unlocks.
For each programming done, you should test out the keys and be sure to hear the locks cycle. Compare the function of your newly programmed keys with the original key to be sure that everything is still working. You can try to start your ignition and controls with the new programmed key to ensure it works the same.
