Are you new to pinning up small format interchangeable core locks? If so, get your materials and do it the LockBoss way.
When you start pinning up IC core locks, the control bar right here will always be in your way. Your thumb or your fingers will keep hitting it, and it's not going to align all of the chamber holes. It will not allow you to pin it up, and you'll just keep fighting it.
What you want to do is to get that control bar pushed out, take your ejector pin, and put it down to the last hole until it comes through. It will help you to make the keyway aligned.
Once that happens, pin the first chamber here.
As soon as you're done pinning up that first chamber, take the ejector tool out and slide it right on the backside of the control bar. That way, as you pin up the rest of the chambers, everything will be perfectly aligned, allowing you to do it promptly.
I hope that helps. Share your thoughts and experience below. Thanks, and we'll see you next time!
