Have you ever sat and wondered why commercial electronic locks are so complex? I know I have. They're big, bulky, time-intensive, and labor-intensive to install, and the electronics on them seem a little bit outdated to me. I don't think I've ever met such a holy group of locks in my life.
I really can't believe that still, to this day, the number of holes that are required in a door for a typical commercial electronic lock is as many as it is today. Once you install that lock, the customer is stuck unless you want to put a wraparound plate. Aside from that, commercial doors are pretty expensive, so the liability is pretty high when you're installing them. And a lock looks better on a door without a wrap over it. That is why I'm super excited to introduce you to the E-Elite locks by Townsteel.
These are assembled in the USA heavy-duty commercial electronic locksets. These are the future of the retail locksmithing space. In front of me are two different models. The first one here is the E-Elite 2000 series. It has the standard push-button keypad, and you can have up to 100 different users on it.
And the second one is the E-Elite 5000. It has a touchscreen, can have up to 200 users, with Bluetooth and WiFi availability. It also comes with RFID card technology. So, it's going to cover all of your bases, and the free app that goes along with it has an audit trail on it. So, if you have a customer that's worried about audit trail, well, it's built into the app.
Not only is the price great on this, but I want to show you my favorite part about these locks. These locks don't require any extra holes except the standard commercially prepped through bolts, and that's it. So, if one day, the customer needed to take that lock off the door and put just a standard lever on, there's not going to be any extra holes to cover up. So, if you're looking for a modern, up-to-date, heavy-duty commercial electronic lock, then you have got to check out these E-Elite locks by Townsteel.
I'd love to know what you think in the comments below. Thank you for watching. Stay away from drilling all those extra holes, and we'll see you next time.
