Julio Tries On-Board Key Programming
Hey guys, Julio here. We've got a customer with a 2013 Chevy pickup who needs a duplicate made, only got one key. So, instead of using a programmer, I know by checking the Ilco Directory Guide, we can onboard program today. So, it's gonna be super simple. Let's get to it.
1. I have the existing key, and we're going to put it in the ignition cylinder.
2. We're going to turn it on to run, let it run for a second.
3. This is our secondary key. Just as easy, place that in, turn it to run.
4. The security light will light up for two seconds to indicate that it is in fact programmed.
5. Obviously, it's programmed. It turned it on.
And we are good now we have two programmed keys ready for this vehicle. Another successful programming job done by yours truly, Julio. Catch you later.
