Today is a great day to practice your locksmithing skills by using a SmartPRO to make transponder key to 2015 Mazda 5. So, what exactly are you waiting for? Let's get a duplicate key and program it.
The first thing you can do is go to Vehicle Selection up here. Scroll down to the Mazda 5 and pick Mazda as the maker.
Now, I looked this up in MyKeys Pro app, and so I think I found the right one, but this one, for whatever reason, is missing an end date. So I did verify that it is in the MyKeys Pro app, so I feel confident to go and click on this and give it a shot.
Insert your new key, turn the ignition on, and hit connect to the vehicle.
After that, instructions will appear, which you must follow before clicking OK. Select OK after turning on the ignition, which we've already done. And we're going to Add Keys over here. We're going to press this tiny green button.
'Switch Ignition on with the key to be programmed' comes next. Now that we've done that, we'll proceed by pressing OK.
That's all there is to it; it's that easy. This key has been programmed now. Let's try starting it to see how it works.
For every newly programmed key, always test and compare it to the original key. Check the buttons if there is before leaving.
