How do I rekey my Kwikset lock?

To rekey your Kwikset lock, insert the current key and turn it 90 degrees, then insert the SmartKey tool into the slot and remove the old key. Next, insert your new key and turn it back to the starting position; your lock is now rekeyed to the new key. Make sure your lock is a Kwikset SmartKey model, as traditional locks require a different process.
