No, not any key can be made into a KW1 key. The KW1 key is a specific key blank designed for Kwikset locks, and only key blanks with the same shape and dimensions as a KW1 key can be cut to fit a KW1 lock. Other key types with different profiles cannot be made into a KW1 key.
