Keys that are marked "Do Not Duplicate," high-security keys, and keys with restricted or patented designs cannot be easily duplicated. Locksmiths and hardware stores typically refuse to copy these keys without proper authorization. Additionally, some electronic or smart keys require special programming and equipment to duplicate.
