You can rekey a Kwikset SmartKey lock an unlimited number of times. There is no set limit, as the SmartKey technology is designed for repeated rekeying without wearing out the mechanism under normal use. However, it is recommended to use original Kwikset SmartKey tools and follow the instructions to ensure the lock functions properly.
