To use a Kwikset Rekey Kit, first remove the lock from your door and insert the current key, turning it 90 degrees. Use the included SmartKey tool to press into the slot, remove the old key, insert the new key, and turn it back to complete rekeying. Always follow the kit’s instructions for best results.
