To reset your Schlage lock code if you forgot it, you’ll need the original six-digit programming code found on the back of the keypad or in the user manual. Remove the lock from the door to locate this code, then use it to perform a factory reset by pressing and holding the Schlage button while reconnecting the battery. After resetting, you can set a new user code using the programming code.
